This body of work marks the artist’s return to painting after a long period of creative silence. Emerging from a time of overthinking, paralysis and the burning desire to move forward without knowing where to go , the works capture the tension between longing and stillness, desire and uncertainty.

In contrast to her previous practice- shaped by years of technical rigor, discipline, and the pressure that comes with working in a hyperrealistic mode—these paintings arose from release. Guided by the urgency to capture pure feeling rather than resolution, the artist allowed figures to appear spontaneously, not as self-portraits but as shapes of emotion.

Each mark reflects both urgency and hesitation, transforming private struggle into a visual language that embraces the beauty of not knowing and the possibility of momentum within uncertainty.
